Visually impaired artist and Alabama native, Molly Kennedy now lives and works in Portland. Ms. Kennedy works with Portland area schools to teach children the healing power of art. In her spare time, she writes, paints, and sings. Molly is a founding member of O.M.A.R., an artists’ collective in NE Portland.

A native of Yreka, California, Jesse has been working in oils for the last 15 years. His work ranges from abstract to surreal. He is an accomplished muralist and portrait artist. Deriving much of his inspiration from concepts of the mind, it is his hope that “art touches us in a way that makes us question our thinking.” He is a founding member of O.M.A.R., an artists’ collective in NE Portland.

A native of Oklahoma, Cherokee rustic furniture artist George Chases builds custom furniture using natural alder, bamboo, willow, maple, and cherry woods for both interior and exterior applications, ranging from bed frames to dining room and patio furniture.

East Coast native Su(e) Diyg has been living in Portland for 13 years, and is a new O.M.A.R. member. She has been a Visiting Artist at MLC School in Portland and Montclair Elementary in Beaverton, as well as Albina Head Start preschool program. Besides painting, she has also done metal and fabric sculpture, apparel design, writes poetry and short stories, and accepts commissions for portraits.
Su(e)’s work focuses on looking at the world around us as if for the first time, thereby gaining a new perspective.
